Track your walking distance in a given amount of time as opposed to tracking how much time you spend walking. Walking a greater distance in any given amount of time requires your heart to work harder and getting your heart working harder is the best way to improve your health and physical fitness. You’ll also burn more calories which is essential if you’re trying to control your weight.
